Course Outline
Seat Time: 1 hour
This course will introduce the learner to Anti-Boycott Regulations, covering requests and reporting requirements. The learner will understand prohibited business discriminations and Letters of Credit. After completing this program, the learner will be able to:
- Distinguish between the four types of prohibited refusals.
- Define and implement Letters of Credit inside and outside of the United States.
- Understand reporting requirements.
Course Topics
T1. Overview of the Anti-Boycott Regulations: This topic will define anti-boycott regulations and will explain for the learner the purpose, impact, and requirements regarding anti-boycott regulations.
T2. Prohibited Business Discriminations: This topic will familiarize the learner with prohibited business discriminations, focusing on the four types of refusals that are prohibited, including transaction refusals and implied refusals.
T3. Letters of Credit: This topic will define Letters of Credit and will familiarize the learner with the process of implementing a Letter of Credit inside and outside of the United States.
T4. Reporting: This topic will define covered requests and will detail for the learner what is and is not required to be reported and the process by which reports are filed.
