Corona Virus is Not the Flu - Its Much Worse

I came across an informative video from VOX today which I would like to share with respect to how Corona Virus compares with the Seasonal Flu... there have been a lot of graphics and misleading articles stating that the flu kills more people globally than COVID-19 however these articles don't take into account the fact that there is a acquired herd immunity and annual vaccines for the seasonal flu which limits its spread within the global population and there is no such herd immunity nor vaccines for COVID-19.

Send this to anyone who still thinks Covid-19 is basically the same as the flu.

Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, has similar symptoms to the flu. They also spread in similar ways. So it's natural to want to compare the two. But Covid-19 is very different, in ways that make it much more dangerous. And understanding how is key to understanding why we have to take it so seriously.
